Birthday's-A-Plenty

Seems like February is a big birthday month. Paul, Natalie, Amelia, Larisa, Rachel, Brooke, Gus...the list goes on and on.

This past weekend we celebrated two of the aforementioned.

Friday night we had a Kool Kitty Kat party for Natalie.

Check out the sweet treats Candice made- in true feline fashion.

I found this sweet frame at a second-hand store for Nat.

And yep, that's a real horseshoe.

Then it was off to the movies to watch this, which was delightfully creepy.

Saturday I had a meeting in San Diego.

Every apartment/condo/home needs this picture on the bills wall. Makes paying bills a lot easier when you've got Jackie Moon to look at.

Buster, who's a bilingual dog. I mean, living in San Diego, you gotta be.

Sunday marked Amelia's birthday and we celebrated it at Buca di Beppo and Disneyland, but not before we messed around with our new Franken-mini-bike.

Bryan, aka Barstow- not only did he order the girliest drink at the bar, but he drank it as if it were The Blood of Christ. (Amen.)

OK I swear, she like the Prince shirt I got her, even though look on her face may say otherwise.

Then it was off to Disneyland, where in true Amelia form, she forgets her D-land ID and has to have poor Cynthia sign her and Nathan in. Since it's her birthday, she'll get a mulligan.

Best. Bald Spot. Ever.

Here are a few of our takes on....

Hysterical Beatles fans.

The Mona Lisa.

Saying goodbye to President Bush.

The Brady Bunch escalator scene.

And of course, Buddy Holly! (except for Nathan)

After the ride we wondered why the water decided to stay in Nate's nether regions.

If someone can tell me what kind of hat this is and where I can find it, there's a reward waiting for you. Seriously.

Apparently Nat's, Yovie's, and Nate's screaming doesn't bother Bryan a bit...

...but the sad, burdening reality that he is Irish gets him where it hurts the most. I mean really, Disney- why stop there? Where are the Lucky Charms?

For some reason I thought this was funny.

On a side note, how great would it be if we made it's a small world historically accurate? You know, instead of those two in the above picture smiling, how about we have the cowboy hand him a bottle of whiskey. Or if we showed our atomic bombings on Japan. What about the Middle East conflicts? We can have Israel and Pakistan shoot missiles back and forth across the flume- couldn't you see the excitement in a child's face seeing all the fireworks?

Anyway, happy birthday to my good friends Natalie and Amelia! Here's to plenty more!
