Where The Wild Things Were?
It seems as though that Warner Bros. aren't happy with the Spike Jonze film adaptation of our favorite childhood book, Where The Wild Things Are, originally scheduled for release in October. According to various reports, it looks like the execs are worried that the boy playing Max isn't likable enough, and further complicating the matter are reviews from test screeners reporting that the movie can be scary for children. Massive re-shoots have been discussed, obviously putting the release date on hold indefinitely.
Spike is one of my favorite directors, and the people who hired him should have known what they were in for. I really hope they can salvage this movie (word is that Jonze has the final cut and could release it) in any way possible. Go here for a clip, but hurry because the man has been taking them down one by one. Note that it's only a test clip- here's Spike's explanation.
“That was a very early test with the sole purpose of just getting some footage to Ben our vfx (visual effects) supervisor to see if our vfx plan for the faces would work. The clip doesn’t look or feel anything like the movie, the Wild Thing suit is a very early cringy prototype, and the boy is a friend of ours Griffin who we had used in a Yeah Yeah Yeahs video we shot a few weeks before. We love him, but he is not in the actually film...Oh and that is not a wolf suit, its a lamb suit we bought on the internet. Talk to you later...“ - Spike Jonze

I'm Jason Reyes, and I Approve This Message
As some of you may know, it's Super Tuesday today and I urge everyone to vote for your candidate. Not only is it the right thing to do, but it will eliminate the confusion of "vote-for-me" commericals.
It's like going to a restaurant and seeing too many things on a menu, or walking into a grocery starving- the point is, it's hard to make decisions when there are too many choices. I like things yes or no, black or white, meat or veggie. When things are simplified, it leaves less room for error.
On that note, I thought it would be imperative to give you a video guide for our 2008 Presidential Candidates. You can thank me later. Enjoy.
REPUBLICANS
Jonh McCain
Mitt Romney
DEMOCRATS
Barack Obama
Hillary Clinton
LONGSHOTS
Ron Paul
Stephen Colbert
Hope that helps!
On a serious note, I would like all of you to check out this documentary I watched called Why We Fight. There are many issues we need to address with the state of our country, and it's important that we elect someone who can take the points brought up in the film into a brighter light. Whether you're a Republican or Democrat or anything in between, you owe it to yourself to watch this movie.

Wait, You're Bidding on What?
I found this while making my normal eBay rounds for the night. I searched 'surfboards.' Go figure.
Tide, The Beach Fairy
I'm not sure what bothers me more. That this is even listed on eBay, or the fact that someone is bidding on it. And I especially enjoy how it almost dares, "MORE PICTURES OF THE TIDE CAN BE FOUND HERE." Lucky for you I already clicked on "here," and it's definitely somewhere you DON'T want to go.
Here's an artists rendition of what I looked like after clicking the link.
