The Other Cutting Room Floor

Since I'm getting ready to finally start the insane process of gathering pictures and video for the Road Trip movie, I thought this would be appropriate.

Inspiration

For those of you who didn't know, this statue was the inspiration for our Soulful Commandoe logo.

Jury Duty

Somehow I've evaded four cuts and find myself in what's probably the
last couple pools of potential jurors.

What I dont understand is why everything in this room is so bland. How's about maybe some life in this room, and maybe people can look forward to getting that letter in the mail. You could tell from the group here who is intentionally trying I get dismissed by looks alone. I've seen confederate flag shirts, neckbraces, and even people wearing shorts- when there are specific signs instructing not to wear them.

I should have planned this out more thoroughly. Lynyrd Skynyrd shirt, dual arm casts, and some Hooters shorts would have done it.

Cheers

Last night I went to my first Ducks game of the season and noticed
that the family in front of me had their 10 year old son drinking a beer.

He shoots, he scores!

Disneyland, 11.03.07

I spent my Sunday at Disneyland with my favorite people in the world, and on the way out from Space Mountain we noticed this kid sweating his brains out on the Dance Dance Revolution machine.

First, why is it called "Dance Dance?" Why two? Does the second justify the overall silliness of the game?

Second, why do some insist on spending their days at Disneyland in the arcade?

Like I said earlier, this kid was profusely sweating. It almost looked like he just got done with a marathon.

Ready...
(Note his right arm bracing the safety bar. He is also in what DDR enthusiasts call, "The Power Stance.")

Set...
(Note that now both hands are braced; stabilizing his body and allowing maximum torque for his waist to move his legs across the directional pads. I'm told that the grip he's using here on the bars is called a "Continental.")

DANCE!
(Note the overall intensity shown not only in his stomp, but in his facial expressions also. DDR greats must master a fine balance between skill, physical power, extraordinary hand-feet coordination, and most importantly- fierceness. "DDR Champions are not born, but made.")

I suggest everyone who's never seen them live to go out and do so-
immediatley.

They return on November 16th to the House of Blues Sunset.

Save the date!

Objects In Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear

A few weeks ago, Jon B. broke off his mirror. Today, Joemm and I took it upon ourselves to help him out.

Not only did we use tape, but we used flyers from his new videography company to help stabilize the mirror to the car.

And if anyone needs his services (weddings, special events, pretty much anything), let him know! His work is awesome, just like the tape job Joe and I made.

On the Cutting Room Floor

We're making denim today, and Joemm's sexy legs will be our fit model.

It's True

I'm watching this at 1AM.

Why?

'Cause it feels so good dancing to this remix- makes me wanna step, 'cause it's a cut!

Pet Peeves

Traffic, smog, and dirty windshields.

And why is the 15 Fwy getting worse and worse each year? It's consistently gotten more crowded each year since 2003.
